TIMSA

Welcome !  TIMSA is a growing advocacy and support group for those with a loved one incarcerated within the TDCJ. We are most active within our Facebook group.  Our FB group has a wealth of information to help you navigate the TDCJ system. We hope to see you within our group! Our website will also have a lot of useful information and services available to you and your loved one(s).

TIMSA has evolved and our services and programs have also changed. We began providing mail, tablet, visitation and telephone support. We have added Twogether in Texas premarital workshops, Couples Communication Workshops, and so many more on the way, including a 12 Step program and Paving Your Path to Parole!  With our new Director of Creative Design and Program development, Sharon McKinney joining our team, the possibilities are endless and we are more excited than ever. 

Due to this shift in how we serve the Texas Prisons Communities and those impacted by incarceration within the TDCJ, we felt we just wanted to go by our acronym. No long name or fancy wording necessary. It is the work itself that defines an organization, not the name on their marquis.
