Officiants

At TIMSA we believe there is a lid for every pot. While we do have approved officiants we also provide you options. It is YOUR DAY and should be DONE YOUR WAY! There is no such title that TDCJ has bestowed upon wedding officiants. There is no TDCJ APPROVED OFFICIANT title. TDCJ has an application for those who qualify to conduct weddings to complete for permission to conduct weddings at each unit. The application ensures the officiant is able to perform a marriage ceremony in accordance with Texas Family Code § 2.202. TDCJ does not issue "Officiant Status:". 

With this in mind, we will provide a list of Judges who serve as Justice of Peace and even officiants who have provided us their information. We are not connected to those who will appear on this list. We are not responsible for their business or personal character. We do suggest speaking to the Justice of Peace for units where you have been quoted over $250- $300 for your wedding service. More information coming soon.
